Family of woman who died at airport files claim
The family of Carol Gotbaum, the woman who died last year while in police custody at Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix, Arizona, filed an $8 million claim Wednesday against the city and its police department. Gotbaum was left alone in a holding cell and strangled herself while trying to escape her handcuffs.
